Charter Airlines

Flying for a charter airline offers a unique opportunity to work in various types of aircraft, and provide on-demand air travel services to high net worth individuals, celebrities and corporations. This role requires excellent customer service skills to deliver a personalized travel experience for each client.

Pilot Dreams: Charting a Course for Private Pilot Jobs

As a pipeline patrol pilot, you are responsible for flying low altitudes and covering long distances in support of oil and gas exploration. This type of work can be very demanding, especially in hot climates. Patrol pilots must have an eye for detail and be able to remain calm and focused during flights.

Flight Instruction

Several flight schools hire PPL rated pilots to teach flight lessons and give new pilots the training they need to become a commercial pilot (CFI). The pay is very competitive, and it’s an excellent way to build up flight hours.

Banner towing can be a good way to build up hours in a specific type of aircraft. However, you must be willing to spend up to 8 hours a day flying low and slow around the same routes.
